Hello to new and familiar faces, I'm so happy you're here!  I'm always so appreciative of the support you provide to me and my music - it means the world to me to create music that resonates with people.

buuuh buh buh buuuuuh!!!!! New Music!!!!

I'm excited to announce that today, my very first label release is out, on all platforms! 'No Touch' is released on Rollerblaster Records (a UK house label filled with talented artists) with the original mix by super-talented Dark Arts Club, and remixes by Ben Booker (!), FunkU and Bassique Musique. Receiving support from this talent has inspired me into all forms of imposter of syndrome.  But I'm pressing on!

Tell me, Lauren, what does No Touch even mean?

No Touch is about people who are not what you thought they were.  Imagine a guy who is so hot...until he opens his mouth.  "You got no touch..."

A few years ago, I worked with a guy (at least one of you knows who this person is), whose eyes were soooo dreamy.  I mean, he hit all the very basic, but very true, check boxes for dreaminess.  There I was, during my first week, at an event, and we started talking.  Ooh.  I could feel my face flush.  His eyes are soo blue!  And we talked.  For a good 12 minutes.  And, unfortunately, the magic died sooner than it had begun. He's nice, he's thoughtful, he's educated.  He just was...boring?

How could someone be so attractive and yet, within minutes, all the mmm disappears, never to be seen again? That happens in longer relationships too.  Sometimes, something just happens and you see a side of someone you've never seen before. "Your love is a charade... like a cruel twist of fate, I'm stupid in love, you're my perfect mistake."

A few years later, blue eyes charmed someone into joining one of those very popular television dating shows, which has made it really fun to tell this story.  (Hi Aunt Renee!  She loves this show.) He lasted about half way through the season.

So here's to the hot but boring guy, who inspired the song No Touch that is now my label release...Cheers!
